Last week we spent a lot of time outside. A few of us got to get out for a bit and enjoy the fresh (sorta) air at the Wilderness Trails Zoo in Frankenmuth. It was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL 70 degree day with no wind and lots of sunshine. We got to see farm animals, tigers, lions, bears, fox, deer, camel, monkeys, birds and more! We enjoyed a picnic lunch and watched 400+ children and their parents from multiple different schools run around and enjoy the zoo as well. It was like we got 2 zoo's in 1!
We also have been soaking in that vitamin D on the patio here and playing lots of games, doing crafts and enjoying each others company.
We want to thank Thetford Senior Center and their bus driver for allowing us to utilize the bus they have and cart us wherever we want to go. It is so appreciated and we are incredibly blessed to have them! The trip went off with out a hitch!
